Mixed HZ/H,-Control Using Parameter Optimization Methods

چکیده
In this paper we consider the problem of minimum nominal Hz-norm with H,-constraints for systems with multiple operating points. The performance measure is defined as a weighted sum of the corresponding nominal H2norms while robust stability of the individual closed-loop systems is defined in terms of a H,-bound for each plant condition. In this paper we define a new time-domain scalar cost function J, ( t , ) representing the H,-bounds in an overall cost function for the mixed H’/H,-design. J , ( t j ) is, for finite time t f , a penalty function and, for t j + 00, a barrier function. Using J m ( t j ) , the mixed Hz/H,-design problem results in an unconstrained o p timization problem, that, for I! -, 00, recovers the original objective of minimizing the performance measure s u b ject to the Hm-bounds. The resulting optimization problem is smooth and hence standard gradient-based software can be applied. The class of controllers considered includes proper and strictly proper LTI controllers with fixed structure and/or fixed order.

This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...
متن کاملBalancing Control of Bicyrobo by Particle Swarm Optimization-Based Structure-Specified Mixed H2/H∞ Control
In this paper, a structure-specified mixed H2/H∞ controller design using particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed for control balancing of Bicyrobo, which is an unstable system associated with many sources of uncertainties due to un-model dynamics, parameter variations, and external disturbances. The structure-specified mixed H2/H∞ control is a robust and optimal control technique. However...
متن کاملRobust Control of Systems under Mixed Time/Frequency Domain Constraints via Convex Optimization
A successful controller design paradigm must take into account both model uncertainty and design specifications. Model uncertainty can he addressed using the ‘ H, or I 1 robust control theory. However, these frameworks cannot accommodate the realistic case where the design specifications include both time and frequency domain constraints. In this paper we propose an approach that takes explicit...
متن کاملMixed H2/h∞-based Pid Control via Genetic Algorithms: an Experimental Evaluation
As is pointed out in [2], the so-called mixed H2/H∞ control designs are quite useful for robust performance design for systems under parameter perturbation and uncertain disturbance. However, as is also pointed out in [2], the conventional output feedback designs of mixed H2/H∞ optimal control are complicated and not easily implemented. By these reasons, it is quite common to fix the structure ...
متن کاملFrequency–driven chaos in the electrical circuit of Duffing-Holmes oscillator and its control
Accurate detection of weak periodic signals within noise and possibility of secure messaging have made Duffing oscillator (DO) highly important in the field of communication. Investigation on the properties of DO is thus ardently sought for. An elegant approach to accomplish the same is to fabricate electronic circuit simulating DO non-linear equation and to study the effect of input signal amp...
